SAN DIEGO, CA [July 22, 2021]   — Endera, a technology company specializing in all-electric commercial vehicles, charging infrastructure and software solutions, announces the appointment of Jason Shaver as the Endera Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Shaver is a seasoned financial executive with experience in accounting, finance, energy and administration.

As CFO, Shaver will lead the company’s corporate finance, strategic planning, and accounting functions. He provides leadership to plan and grow profit efficiently, including developing budgets and projections supporting business strategy, operations, and product results.

Jason brings a multitude of industry knowledge to Endera with experience in both the transportation and finance fields. Before joining Endera, Jason served as the Director of Asset Management and Operations for American Electric Power leading the commercial and operational management of wind, solar and energy storage assets across the United States with over 2GW of generation capacity. Previously, he served as the Wind Portfolio Manager for Sempra Energy, leading the $2.2B divestiture of the company’s renewable energy portfolio, with prior roles in Sempra’s financial planning and corporate financial reporting groups. Jason was also a public accountant for a national accounting firm performing financial audits and consulting services in clean transportation, manufacturing, advance condition monitoring, defense, services organization, and biotechnology.

Endera CEO John Walsh Announces 250 EV Order and Partnership With Pritchard Ford, Customers Can Now Access National Service Presence

Endera Supplies SP+ With 8 Fully Electric Shuttle Buses, Fleet Swap at San Diego International Airport

SAN DIEGO, CA, June 22, 2021 - Endera, a technology company specializing in all-electric commercial vehicles, charging infrastructure and software solutions, announced its commitment to supply SP+ with 8 fully electric shuttle buses at the San Diego International Airport to replace an older LPG fleet.  

“The clean transportation revolution is occurring in San Diego with Endera’s second-ever 100% fleet swap at the San Diego International Airport and the first for an off-airport client. This fleet swap will provide four 25kW chargers and four 50kW chargers along with customized shuttles. Endera will also be supplying SP+ with Endera Go and Endera Transit platforms for full access to ridership data, fleet performance, and reporting through the customer dashboard,” said John Walsh, Endera’s Chief Executive Officer.

“I am convinced electric vehicles are the way to go. Our employees will not be spending time at the gas station. After successfully testing the shuttle buses, the switch is a no-brainer,” said Richard Abdala, facility manager of Aladdin parking garage. “Endera provided the shuttles that worked for us. They’ve got a good product, they are road tested, and we are super excited to put Endera’s buses on the road.” 

SP+ is a technology driven mobility solutions company that sought a superior electrification partner to fit their needs in San Diego. Endera customized the shuttles to ensure a perfect fit into the Aladdin parking facility which has stringent height restrictions for its access gates. To accommodate these height restrictions, Endera commissioned a custom HVAC system to develop the exact shuttles needed. Endera partnered with SP+ throughout the entire vehicle specification process, from the design to the financing of their fleet.

Prior to joining Proterra, he spent six years working on EV infrastructure for airports, commercial buildings, and universities, as well as smart city projects. Notably, Williams worked with Elon Musk and the SpaceX team to install level 1 charging in their parking structure for employees.
